# Terms of service and sale Source: https://v2.plugster.ai/en/terms ## Terms of service and sale By creating an account or using Plugster, a client accepts these terms. They cover the account holder’s relationship with the service; a visitor of a client site, or the AI assistant it talks to, is never a party to them. ## Professional customers only Plugster is sold to professionals only. By creating an account, the account holder declares acting for the purposes of their trade, business, craft or profession, or on behalf of an organisation, and not as a consumer. The provisions of consumer law that protect consumers alone, the right of withdrawal and consumer mediation in particular, therefore do not apply. ## Purpose Plugster crawls the public pages of a declared site, publishes them in a format AI assistants can read (`llms.txt`, per-page markdown, a WebMCP script, an MCP server), and reports what was read or asked back to the site’s owner. ## The service Plugster only reads what any visitor could already see: its crawl respects `robots.txt`, `noindex`, and the exclusions set in the account. The tools that reread a page when an assistant calls them (a product’s availability, a live search) are not a crawl: they read one page at a time, at a user’s request, and only on a site whose owner verified it and switched that tool on themselves; they therefore do not consult `robots.txt`, which addresses crawlers. It never renders content hidden behind a login or a paywall, and it never rewrites, invents or embellishes a page, a price or a stock level. The one tool that acts, adding to a cart, runs only in the visitor’s own browser, on the shop’s own form, after the visitor confirms: Plugster holds no cart, no session and no payment. ## Limits Plugster works on the public pages of a site as they are served on the day it reads them. A feature can therefore stop working on a given site, or never work on it, through no fault of Plugster and without this being a breach of the service: a platform or theme update that changes the pages, an anti-bot protection that blocks the crawl, pages rendered only by JavaScript in the browser, product or search markup that the platform does not emit, or a page that stops being public. In each case Plugster reports what it cannot read, in the site’s dashboard, rather than making it up, and the owner remains free to end the subscription at any time. ## Account The account holder is responsible for the accuracy of the site declared, for keeping their credentials confidential, and for any API key issued from their settings. A site must be verified as owned before anything happens to it: nothing is read, nothing is published at its address on the service, and no tool, endpoint or transport is opened on it. ## Pricing Tiers are priced by pages crawled, maximum recrawl frequency and number of sites, as shown on the home page and set in the service’s pricing grid; reads and questions from AI assistants are never counted or capped. The free tier is bounded and stays free as long as its ceiling is respected. Prices are shown VAT included. A paid subscription is sold and invoiced by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ireland), which resells the service in its own name, collects the payment and works out, charges and pays the VAT; Stripe’s terms of sale apply to the payment and the invoice. ## Term, renewal and cancellation A paid subscription runs month by month and renews itself at each monthly due date, until it is cancelled. It can be cancelled at any time, with no notice and no fee, from the profile page (billing portal): the cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid, which is not refunded, and the account then returns to the free tier. Changing tier takes effect at once, Stripe charging or crediting the difference for the rest of the month. Deleting the account stops the subscription immediately, without refunding the current month. ## Price changes Plugster may change its prices. A running subscription is told by email at least thirty days before the first due date at the new price, and can be cancelled before then at no cost; without a cancellation, the new price applies from that due date. A discount already granted runs to its end. ## Site content The content published under a client’s address is a copy of what the crawl found on their site at the time it ran; it stays owned by the site, and disappears once the site is removed from the account. ## Liability Plugster cannot guarantee that a given AI assistant will read, index or use the content it publishes, nor be held responsible for what that assistant says with it. The service is provided without warranty of uninterrupted availability. ## Account deletion and suspension An account holder may delete their account at any time from the profile page; every site, file and log tied to it is purged immediately, with no grace period. The publisher may suspend a site that breaches these terms. When an account moves to a plan that covers fewer sites than it has, all its sites are suspended until its holder chooses which to keep; a suspended site that is not kept is deleted 60 days after its suspension, with its files and its data, after an email at the suspension and a reminder 7 days before. ## Governing law These terms are governed by French law. The service being sold to professionals only, any dispute that cannot be settled amicably falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nantes, France. --- Agent-ready by Plugster.
