Install Plugster on any website
Plugster reads your public pages and publishes them for AI assistants: an llms.txt, a markdown version of every page and an MCP server. On your side, two things to do, and nothing else in your pages changes.
1. Two lines in the <head>
They tell assistants where your site’s markdown lives, and load the script that offers them its tools. Your dashboard gives you the exact lines, with your site’s address in place of <your-site>.

- Paste the two lines just before </head>.
- Deploy the change.
2. A redirect of /llms.txt (recommended)
Assistants look for /llms.txt at the root of a domain. A redirect sends them to the one Plugster keeps up to date for you; replace <your-site> with the address your dashboard gives.
- A redirect makes /llms.txt automatically send visitors to https://v2.plugster.ai/<your-site>/llms.txt?via=redirect, without duplicating the content in two places.
- On Netlify or Cloudflare Pages: add a line to the _redirects file at the site root: /llms.txt https://v2.plugster.ai/<your-site>/llms.txt?via=redirect 301
- On Vercel: add an entry to the redirects section of vercel.json, with /llms.txt as the source and https://v2.plugster.ai/<your-site>/llms.txt?via=redirect as the destination.
- On an Apache server: add this line to .htaccess: Redirect 301 /llms.txt https://v2.plugster.ai/<your-site>/llms.txt?via=redirect
- On an Nginx server: add this to the site configuration: location = /llms.txt { return 301 https://v2.plugster.ai/<your-site>/llms.txt?via=redirect; }
- If none of these match your setup, ask whoever manages your hosting to add a 301 redirect from /llms.txt to https://v2.plugster.ai/<your-site>/llms.txt?via=redirect.
Then
Plugster checks the install from your dashboard, crawls the site, and shows you what AI assistants read and search for on it.
